The Little House - now there’s an interesting story. This hand made mini dwelling was created by our son and is a copy of Vernon Avenue, Venice Beach, his home in Los Angeles where he started his own family. Made from bits of stock board, old doors, old floors from our old home it sits in the orchard, a little homage to the wooden houses in and around Santa Monica and Venice Beach. This sturdy wee house came up to Scotland and was finally installed in its place of honour in the orchard surrounded by trees and paths and of course, the new ‘rest and be thankful’ bench.
