‘This accommodation is the benchmark, I can’t see how this could be any better’
Most of our adult lives have been spent globe trotting during which time we were lucky enough to travel to (and in some cases live in) the Southern Hemisphere, the Orient (near and far), the US, Canada, South America, Russia, Africa, Europe and Asia. Over the last few decades we have been super fortunate to have stayed in some of the worlds most beautiful and stylish hotels as well some supposedly amazing hotels with a great deal of hype and promise which ‘failed to deliver’.
When it was time to put our big wheelie suitcases in the cupboard under the stairs and passports in the drawer and stay still, we settled in the beautiful Scottish borders.
Our house sits on the side of a stunning valley over looking the Tweed and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and rolling hills. In the garden, we had an already developed old piggery that was hardly used yet it was totally dreamy.
We decided to put everything we’d learned from our experiences around the world into creating the perfect spot to relax and recharge and let the countryside do it's thing and so, the Pijjery was born.
