The property's full of personal touches which made it extra special - beautiful flowers, welcome basket ...coffee and tea.
We like low food miles and food made with love not chemicals! You’re not likely to get a locally grown banana here but where we can stay local, we do!
It all starts with our breakfast hampers filled with our own cereals and croissants from either the Fat Batard or Forsyth’s of Peebles, we include butter and a rather special strawberry jam as well as fresh fruit and our very own apple juice made using the thousands of apples grown yearly in the walled garden and the orchard.
The hampers are delivered either to the table outside or popped inside the door of the Pijjery between 7 and 8.30.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ashley’s yoga journey began as a young adult, using the practice to manage stress and support her mental health. In her late 20s, Ashley relocated from the serene landscapes of Northern California to the vibrant energy of Venice Beach, Los Angeles, for a marketing career.
Immersed in LA’s dynamic yoga scene, she fell in love with its transformative power and community. Inspired to deepen her practice, she completed her first teacher training with Travis Eliot and Lauren Ekstrom, rooted in the Pattabhi Jois lineage. Ashley quickly became a sought-after instructor on LA’s west side, known for her intuitive teaching style and ability to connect with students of all levels. A lifelong learner, Ashley has amassed over 800 hours of advanced training in yoga and movement modalities. Her teaching blends strength, flow, and mindfulness, offering a well-rounded experience tailored to individual needs.
Now residing in the picturesque Tweed Valley with her husband, two daughters, and two Labradors, Ashley continues to share her passion for yoga. She is available for vinyasa, power, and restorative yoga sessions designed to meet you where you are and help you thrive. £60 per booking up to two people.
